The Irish in France are an under-researched part of the global Irish diaspora.

This project hopes to shed some light on exactly who the Irish in France really are, what they do and how they are getting on in their daily lives, working and living in a different culture and language.

I am looking for Irish people based in France who would be willing to be interviewed (interviews can be done via the phone or skype) and share their experiences with me or who might complete a more detailed questionnaire that I could send on via e-mail.

IT DOES NOT MATTER WHAT YEAR YOU MOVED TO FRANCE.

Every participant would be given a pseudonym and can refuse to answer any question(s) they wish.

The aim of the project is to try and understand the issues facing emigrants in their host society and to give the Irish in France, who are a largely invisible Irish emigrant group, their rightful place in discussions and policy-making on the Irish diaspora.

Send me a message via the 'Contact Form' below or by e-mail ([email protected]) if you have some free time to share your life experiences as an Irish emigrant in France.

I would also appreciate you filling in my on-line questionnaire if you have 10 minutes to spare!

Merci!
